Marcellus Pointer's Binoculars

The Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond, Virginia, has four items that were a part of Marcellus Pointer's military kit; a captured US officer's sword, a red sash, a drinking flask, and a pair of binoculars. They also have his Southern Cross of Honor, which he pawned several days before his death. His granddaughter donated the items in 1941. For an excellent view of the binoculars, click here.
